Skills Unlimited Basketball Camp coming to Apopka

Posted

Rashad Phillips graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2001 as the all‐time leading scorer in conference history. During his time as a Detroit Titan Basketball player, Rashad also broke the school’s 3‐points made record. During his senior year, he also received the Francis Pomeroy Naismith award for best basketball player under 6ft in the country, and becoming Detroit’s first All‐American in 25 years! After playing professional basketball overseas for 8 years, Rashad decided to start Skills Unlimited, a basketball training program. SU has transformed many kids in Michigan into productive young men and women athletes. Over the past 7 years Rashad has built Skills Unlimited into the top training/mentoring program in the state of Michigan.

The great news is that Rashad is moving Skills Unlimited to Central Florida! He is having the first of many camps to come, at the Cooper Palms Sports Complex in Apopka this December 29th and 30th. The camp is for both boys and girls of all skills levels, ages 8-‐18 and is only $100 for both days, giving you the first glimpse of what to look forward to from Rashad!

To find out more about Rashad Phillips and to register for the camp, go to www.rpskillsunlimited.com. Payment can be made by mail or online. Rashad will be making his permanent move to Central Florida along with his family in the summer of 2016. Once his move is complete, he will be available for individual and small group training sessions throughout the week at the CPS Sportsplex. He will be welcoming all skill levels, both boys and girls from elementary through college age. Rashad will also be available to travel to schools for team workshops.
