A second Orange County Sheriff's motorcycle unit was involved in a crash this morning. Deputy Nelson Borjas was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

According to FHP reports, Jerry Lewis Brown, 36 of Orlando, driving a 2006 Chevy Impala, was traveling southbound on Pine Hills Road in the left through lane. Deputy Borjas was traveling southbound on Pine Hills Road on a marked OCSO motor unit (motorcycle) in the center, bi-directional turn lane, with his lights and siren activated. Brown was directed by another officer to make a U-Turn, to travel northbound, on Pine Hills Road. Brown did not see Borjas as he made the U-Turn and traveled into the path of Borjas. The front of Borjas' motorcycle struck the left side of Brown's Impala.

Brown was arrested for driving with a suspended driver's license. The crash remains under investigation

Earlier in the day another OCSO Deputy in the motorcycle unit was killed in a crash with a motorist. OCSO has not released the name of the deputy.
