Sheriffs negotiating with shooter for hours.

Orange County deputies surrounded a CVS in Apopka on Saturday morning after a report of a man with a gun.

Witnesses reported dozens of officers around the store at 2311 E. Semoran Blvd.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office confirmed the presence of a gunman in the parking lot, but did not release further details.

The incident has shut down State Road 436 in both directions from Lake Border Drive through Piedmont Wekiwa Road.

Witnesses said officers were trying to negotiate with the suspect.

As of 2:00 PM the roads around the CVS were still blocked.
