The Apopka Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Jay Ruth Sheppard.
Ms. Sheppard is 72 years old, 5'7", and 230 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen on 5/9/23 after being discharged from Advent Health Apopka.
Ms. Sheppard is diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer’s, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

Wait, this is confusing, as it says a 25 year old female named Hilary Ramos Acosta, is missing, last seen at her residence, and a 72 year old lady too, last seen May 9, after released from the Apopka hospital. Where has the older lady been all this time, for over 2 weeks? And now, she is just being reported to the public, by APD, to ask for our help? This doesn't make any sense. It mentions the 25 year in the previous headlines, then the 72 year old lady in the article above?
