A timeline of events in the manhunt of Markeith Loyd

7:15AM - A citizen alerts Orlando Police Department Master Sergeant Debra Clayton that a murder suspect is at the Walmart on Princeton Street in Orlando. Clayton approaches the suspect Markeith Loyd and is allegedly shot and killed by him.

7:30AM - Orlando Police Department and Orange County Sheriff's Office set up a wide perimeter in Pine Hills and Rosemont areas of Orlando, and begin a massive manhunt for Loyd. Traffic is delayed on many major roads for hours.

9:43AM - A sheriff's deputy with the motorcycle unit is killed in a crash with a driver.

9:50AM - A second sheriff's deputy with the motorcycle unit is involved in a crash with a driver, however his injuries are minor.

Throughout the morning and into the afternoon - Multiple law enforcement agencies respond to the shooting with a manhunt that included hundreds of officers.

1:30PM - Authorities increase their reward offer to $60,000 for anyone helping them capture Loyd, who was accused of murdering his pregnant girlfriend in December. 25 public and private schools in the area are locked down.

2:30-3:30PM - Sheriff Jerry Demings of the OCSO and Orlando Police Chief John Mina hold press conferences and call for Loyd to surrender. They also warn the public not to aid or abet him or they will be prosecuted.

By 4PM - The lockdowns of all 25 schools are lifted.
