When we toured the Lake Apopka loop, we didn't see any of these birds, several trips, however, when we were riding in the car, and I looked out on Welch Road, right where Thompson Road ends, and out there in that lake, in the distance, I could see one, and I knew that was what kind of bird it was because it looked pink.
