U.S. Senate Candidate to Speak at NORWF

Orlando resident Todd Wilcox, candidate for the U.S. Senate, will be the guest speaker at Northwest Orange Republican Women Federated lunch meeting on Thursday, May 19th.

The meeting will be held at the Apopka Golf and Tennis at Errol Estate Country Club, 1335 Errol Parkway, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Todd WilcoxTodd Wilcox is a decorated combat veteran, former CIA case officer and successful entrepreneur and business leader, is one of five men running in the August primary to replace former Republican presidential candidate, Marco Rubio in the 2016 senatorial race. Wilcox stresses that his experience as a national defense contractor and that of being a political outsider will be valued by Republican constituents who are concerned about national security and the nation's flagging economy under the Obama Administration. He will speak about his plans to work with the Senate leaders to help revive the nation's economy and about his national defense plans as he travels throughout the state speaking at various campaign stops.

Other candidates in the 5-man Republican race are U.S. Rep. David Jolly, U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis, Tampa area developer, Carlos Beruff and Florida Lt.-Governor, Carlos Lopez-Cantera.

The NORWF luncheon meeting begins at 11:00 AM. Republican candidates who are present will each be granted a 2-minute opportunity to introduce themselves, explain their platforms and about why they are running for office. The cost of the meeting, which includes the luncheon is $20. After May 17th the cost of each new reservation will be $25.
