Golfers at Apopka Golf & Tennis at Errol Estate got an early Christmas present on Christmas Eve... 76 New Golf Carts!
Most of us wait until January 1st to make improvements or resolutions for the coming year, but not the Apopka Golf & Tennis. They started out the new year with wholesale renovations and improvements to their golf operations.
For 2016, AG&T ordered 76 new golf carts, 2 "carry-all" carts for the maintenance department and a new range (ball) picker for the driving range. According to General Manager Mike Robinson, the improvements are in order for an anticipated influx of play for 2016.
"The course is in the best shape it has been in years and years and years," said Robinson. "Golf play has been picking up and we are excited and expecting that to increase even more in 2016."

The restaurant has also made changes.
"We hired a new chef on December 1st," said Robinson. "The food is great and food sales are up this month."
