From Orange County Public Schools
The Orange County Public School District released the following statement on their Facebook page this afternoon:
"TS NICOLE UPDATE: Based on the storm's forecast and potential impacts on Orange County, Wednesday, November 9, will be a regular early dismissal day. All schools will be closed on Thursday, November 10, and Friday, November 11.
All after-school extracurricular activities and extended day programs are canceled Wednesday through Friday. Information regarding the Florida High School Athletic Association football playoff games scheduled for Friday will be forthcoming.
We will continue to update you throughout the storm. The district will send messages by phone, email, and text. Updates will also be posted on ocps.net and our district Facebook and Twitter pages regarding school operations.
We will provide information about make-up days at a later time. Please stay safe."
