Posted

The Apopka Voice has learned that Commissioner Kyle Becker has received the endorsement of the Orange County Firefighters Association in his campaign to be the next Mayor of Apopka.

Andre Perez, President of the Orange County Firefighters Association, wrote in his letter to Becker:

"On behalf of the 1,180 members of the Orange County Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 2057, it is my pleasure to present you this official letter of endorsement for your candidacy for Mayor of Apopka. We are interested in seeing your vision be applied to the citizens of Apopka. We hope that our endorsement will be the beginning of a successful campaign and positive working relationship with our fellow brothers and sisters of the Apopka Professional Firefighters."

Becker was pleased to receive the third endorsement from a professional firefighting association.

“I am very excited to say our campaign has the endorsement of the Apopka, Orlando and now Orange County Fire Fighters Associations," Becker said. "These are endorsements by groups of men and women who residents trust with their lives, and I’m honored they are supportive of my vision for our department and our city.”

Becker previously received the endorsement of the Apopka Professional Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 5293, the Orlando Firefighters Association, and retired Apopka Fire Chief Chuck Carnesale.

This is a breaking news story.

So we see endor*****ts here, even "out of town" endor*****ts. They will not only expect to own you, they will own you, should you get elected. You can't satisfy everyone.

I question all these "outsiders", who don't even live here in the City of Apopka, and vote in this city election coming up, yet they are spending 24/7 trying their best to manipulate the outcome of this city election, telling us residents who to vote for, and who is good, and who is bad, and even that our city taxes should be raised, but yet they kick against a penny tax increase in their area, the county. You know who you all are, that I am talking about!
