Apopka High School car fire - Snapchat Video

A vehicle owned by a private contractor doing pressure washing for Apopka High School caught fire on the access road that runs on the north side of Apopka High School property, according to Sgt. Kim Walsh, spokesperson for the Apopka Police Department.

The fire was contained, and there was a partial evacuation of school building near the vehicle, but there were no injuries to AHS staff or students.

The contractor suffered minor injuries as a result of the fire. The Apopka Police Department, the Apopka Fire Department and Apopka EMS responded to the call.
