Another Apopka restaurant "discovered" by Orlando media

Posted

Yesterday Orlando Weekly published a very favorable review of one of Apopka's favorite Italian restaurants, Caffe Positano.

According to OW, "Caffe Positano reflects the changing face of Apopka, with its fine food prepared with passion, appreciation and flair."

OW liked it so much they went on to say, "Apopka isn't exactly the crossroads of Orlando, but Caffe Positano's menu is so appealing that it rates a special trip, if necessary."

Nice to see another local restaurant get the recognition it well deserves, after all, TripAdvisor ranks Caffe Positano as the #2 Restaurant in Apopka.

Last month Orlando media discovered another Apopka restaurant, The Back Room Steakhouse.

Caffe Positano is owned by two brothers and two cousins who have brought the authentic Italian foods and flavors of Positano, Italy to Central Florida (they have another location in Sanford).

There is one small problem with the OW review. Orlando Weekly seems to think the Apopka Caffe Positano restaurant is now just two years old. Those who live in Apopka and enjoy excellent Italian food are well aware that the restaurant has been here for more than 10 years. BTW - The first review posted on TripAdvisor was from February 2007.

Maybe OW needs to come to Apopka more often.

Nonetheless, our hats are off to Caffe Positano. Buon Appetito!
