A busy week for Re-Imagine Communities

Mayor's Prayer Breakfast, Rotary Club, Cops and Bobbers on the agenda

It was a busy week for Re-Imagine Communities.

First, we attended the Apopka Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. It was our first time at the event, and we were impressed by the entire program. The community support was phenomenal. It makes us hopeful that we can one day come together as a community and provide support to our children.

Next, we were honored to be invited by Mr. Eddie Baron to attend the local Rotary Club meeting and presented with a sponsorship check for the Apopka Area Student Awards. It was such a great surprise as we have not had the pleasure of partnering with the Rotary Club, but I am excited to say that we have some pretty cool things on the calendar and can’t wait to collaborate with this great organization.

We ended our week with an event hosted by the Apopka Police Department.

We were so excited to be a part of the Cops and Bobbers event, which allows students to experience the joys of fishing with our police officers. APD Officer Jason Wiggins did an outstanding job organizing this event. Our kids had a blast while learning how to fish.

As we go forward, we hope you will continue to support us and the vision of Re-imagine Communities. We owe it to our students to help make our communities better and safer. We will continue creating opportunities to bring our local businesses and schools together. We will continue to create fun and out-of-the-box educational programs that will put a twist on traditional learning.

But more importantly, we will ensure that we advocate for our students, educational system, and administrators. We will continue to work alongside our schools to give them the support and encouragement they need to reach for the stars.

Because we believe you can see it, together we can achieve it… That’s Re-imagine.
